Today I was bored so I set up to prepare some basics for the coming week. One of the things I made was mayo. I've made it before but this time I was particularly happy with the result, which got me thinking. I don't understand why people insist on buying the ready made crap instead of spending 5 minutes making. the real deal. The result is so superior, be it the depth of flavour, be it the texture, there's just no comparing the two.
I went on to use my mayo to make ceaser salad dressing and an aubergine dip. Yum yum.
